Hart Winery has the reputation for producing some of the finest wines in the valley, both red and white. During the most recent Winemaker Challenge in San Diego, California they received a gold medal on each of these wines.
The BLANC DE FRANC is Estate grown and produced from the Cabernet Franc grape. It continues a long tradition of producing a dry rose wine in a versatile, food complimentary style. It features a fruity nose and subtle Cabernet Franc flavors and while having great food compatibility, it would not be out of place as a hot-tub wine.
The SAUVIGNON BLANC is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc Grapes from the Hart Estate Vineyards (55%) and Huis Vineyard (45%). The grapes are grown in granitic soil and moderate climate. They are cold fermented and bottled early to capture the fruit and charm of the grape. The wine is crisp and dry with notes of grapefruit and a subtly herbaceous finish.
The LABEL - A great wine needs a great label and Hart Winery went to great lengths to make that happen. They started by commissioning Jan Wolfinger Design Services to come up with a stand out label. Production of the label required a three step operation in our Gold Coast label facility in Santa Fe Springs. They chose to go with Bright White Felt Estate stock which features subtle texturing and a soft feel. The label was printed digitally on an HP Indigo 4500 label press then intricately foiled and embossed with perfect registration. Subtle shading around the Hart logo and grapes show the unique results of high end digital printing.
